Meet Our Doctor
Dr. Karissa Rasmussen, D.C
Dr. Karissa Rasmussen, a native of Salina, KS, started on her path to becoming a Chiropractor her senior year of high school after interning with local chiropractors for a medical internship class. She had received Chiropractic care her whole life, but never considered it a possible career option. For Dr. Rasmussen and her family, going to the chiropractor was like going to the dentist or the eye doctor. It was just something you did! It did not take long for Dr. Rasmussen to realize that chiropractic care was the ideal path for her vision of providing conservative and preventative health care.
She attended Hutchinson Community College where she earned her Associates Degree in Pre-Chiropractic. She served as a student ambassador for Hutchinson Community College during her time in Hutchinson. She continued on to Cleveland University-Kansas City where she graduated cum laude with a concurrent Bachelor’s Degree in Human Biology and Doctorate of Chiropractic.
